Reference Cards Unlocked! 1 Week to Go

Greetings backers, welcome to the final week of the campaign 🎉
We have just unlocked the player reference cards, which means everyone who backs the cheat sheet bundle is going to get these included in their pledge.
These small form factor cards tell players what basic things they can do on their turn, and will answer some of the most commonly asked player rules questions, leaving you as the GM to focus on the scene and the moment!
We've also hit our next community copy milestone, meaning more copies added to the pool for schools, community groups, and anyone who might not otherwise be able to afford them.
Thank you for helping make that possible.
A Quick Explainer
I just want to take a moment to talk about why this campaign has been quieter than usual, too! Pretty much immediately after launch I had a bit of a cancer scare that took up a basically all of my energy and attention. Thankfully things are looking okay and it seems I am completely fine, but it did mean I wasn't around for my usual level of promotion and updates for a big chunk of the campaign. Fortunately, everything is good and it will have no impact on fulfillment!
Thank you all for the support and patience while that was going on behind the scenes.
Final Stretch Goal: Beginner Adventure - £3,000
Our last stretch goal for this campaign is going to be a beginner-friendly adventure. This short one-shot will be specifically written with new players and GMs in mind and made to be printed as a roll fold leaflet, making it super portable.
The image in the banner above is from a proof of concept adventure I made for this format, and not the final adventure itself.
It will include;
- A map of the location on the back center panel.
- A list of adventure background information, dungeon features, and notes on resolving the adventure on the back left panel.
- Regular read-aloud/breakout boxes to make understanding and conveying information easy.
- Information on optional monsters to adjust difficulty.
- Clearly listed loot.
-
Clear icons which tell you what sort of room/area you are in at a glance.
I thought it would be fun to get some community input on what creature type should be the focus of this starter adventure, so have put together a poll for you to vote on, which you can find below
CREATURE TYPE POLL
Over the next week as we near the end of the campaign I'm going to be sharing some closer looks at some of the add-ons we have available, so keep an eye out for that.
Much love

Greetings backers, we have smashed through another stretch goal which means the beginner character sheets, along with the level 1 pregen characters will be added to your bundles!
So, what's next?
Next Goal: Player Reference Cards - £2,500
Keeping with the theme of building a pack to make learning and teaching the game as easy as possible and creating the ultimate onboarding tool, how about some reference cards!
These small form factor cards tell players what basic things they can do on their turn, and will answer some of the most commonly asked player rules questions, leaving you as the GM to focus on the scene and the moment!
If there was one rule you would HAVE to include on a reference card for your players, what would it be? What are they always forgetting? Let me know down below!

First Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Hey backers!
Our first stretch goal is unlocked 🥳
That means all your pledges will include a blank sheet bundle to allow you to make your own cheat sheets for classes and subclasses.
I will be making a set of basic options for this to include plenty of variety to cover classes and subclasses with various amounts and densities of rules, but I will also include the .af Affinity files for the blank sheets so that you can use the free Affinity software to add your own images and any other requirements you have.
Next Goal: Beginner Character Sheets - £2,000
I run for brand new players pretty frequently, and one of the most common things that comes up is people being overwhelemed by their character sheet.
Multiple, full pages of dense information can be really overwhelming for someone who is brand new to TTRPGs, especially when they don't need more than half of the information on the sheet!
So I have started using a condensed character sheet when I run for newbies, and it has been really successful. If we reach this next milestone I want to take that concept and refine it to make the best beginner sheet possible.
I'm talking color/number coded elements so you as the GM can say to a new player something like "What's your armor class, it's in section 1 on your sheet" to make things easier for them to look it up and understand.
These sheets will include dice icons which will be color coded to the most common color way for polyhedrals (or blank for you to color yourself), which lets you say to new players "roll the d20, that's the blue dice".
This stretch goal will also include a set of level 1 pregenerated characters for our iconic heroes using these character sheets.
Using these beginner character sheets in combination with the class cheat sheets is going to make it so easy to introduce brand new players to the game. Just lay the cheat sheets down on the table, let your players choose which hero they think looks the coolest, and then hand them that cheat sheet and their beginner character sheet and you'll be good to go!
I'd love to know what kind of information or details you would like to see on these sheets down in the comments!
Much love

We’re Funded! Thank You So Much ❤️

Greetings gamers and welcome to the campaign!
And what a way to kick things off, we are funded 🎉
This project only exists because so many of you asked for a revised version of the class cheat sheets for the 2024 rules, and seeing that support show up on day one means the world. With the core bundle now locked in, I can fully commit to finishing and polishing every sheet in the set, and we can start thinking about stretch goals 👀
Black & White Options
One thing I wanted to highlight early on is that every class cheat sheet will also include a black & white printer-friendly version, included at no extra cost.
This isn't the sexiest option, so I've not made a big deal of it in the main project page, but it's low-key one of the most useful things in the core set.
Each sheet will get an intentionally designed B&W copy. This isn't just a B&W filter layer, but a completely different color-way with tweaks to all the art to help them print better in B&W.
As you can see in the draft above, the hero art loses its background and gets the levels tweaked, and the colors for all the lines and tables is tweaked for better contrast when printing in B&W.
Stretch Goals
Now that we're funded that means we’re officially into stretch goal territory, and I’m really excited about what we might unlock during the rest of the campaign!
First up we have the Blank Sheets. These will be fillable PDFs which will be perfect for making your own class cheat sheets in the same style as the core 12.
These are going to come in a ton of varieties with different numbers and sizes of boxes to suit your needs, and thanks to a brilliant suggestion in the comments I am going to make some "pre loaded" blanks, which include the main class on page one, and the fillable subclass on page two.
If you've got other suggestions for stretch goals or things you'd like to see in the campaign, let me know!
Thank you again for backing, sharing, and cheering this project on. I’ll be posting regular updates as we unlock stretch goals and as the sheets come together.
Onward 🚀
Much love
